Since the dawn of humanity, we have marked and celebrated the changing of the seasons with music, food and community. Join Sunblink Sounds and Music Monastery for a modern instance of this ancient practice. This was a ticketed event, but we’ve changed it to a donation-based event based on community feedback!

6pm – Doors
6:30pm Summer Solstice Ceremony
Join us for a simple, candle-lit ceremony featuring insights about the history, science and spirituality of the solstice, accompanied by readings, live music and a special solstice activity to deepen our connection to this special astronomical moment. We’ll have live music offerings from Mike Seward, Rachel Fig, and Gayatri Dasa.
7:30pm Backyard Shindig ft. Bonfire & Summertime Snacks
After a ceremony, it’s always nice to have some food and fellowship! The Music Monastery has a lovely backyard space that’s perfect for an evening bonfire, a summer-y spread of fresh fruits and vegetable dishes, and a great summertime playlist.
9pm Full Moon / Summer Solstice Sound Bath
For those interested in vibrational medicine and a sonic connection to the sun and moon, Sound Healing Practitioner John Paul will facilitate a special sound bath to wind down the night. John’s sound baths are very unique in that they incorporate crystal singing bowls with an upright bass.
